Railway Minister Suresh Prabhu on Monday will flag off the much-awaited Tejas Express, which is equipped with all major amenities and as far as safety is concerned, it is said to be one of the safest trains in India.
The minister will flag off the new train at around 3:30 PM from Mumbai and it will reach its destination Goa at 12:35 AM.

The 20-coach train is equipped with all utlra-modern amenities including wi-fi, infotainment, fire and smoke detection facilities and CCTV. There will also be tea and coffee machines on-board. Tejas Express is like an aeroplane moving on the ground, said General Manager of centrail railway.
Talking about the fare, the executive class rate is Rs 2,680 (with food) and Rs 2,525 (without food). As far as AC chair car is concerned, the fare is Rs 1,280 (with food) and Rs1,155 (without food). However, the rates of the train is 20 per cent more than that of Shatabdi Express.
