Hyderabad Police arrested a government employee for allegedly raping his 20-year-old mentally challenged daughter in Telangana’s Warangal district on Monday.
The arrested has been identified as V Vijayendra Chary. A complaint was lodged against him by his wife with Intezargunj police station.
A senior officer of Intezargunj police station told the media that the government employee’s wife in her complaint has mentioned that Chary on multiple occasions raped their daughter over the last two months.
The officer further added that the victim is the eledest of the four children of the couple. She was forced to discontinue her studies as she is mentally unsound.

The police officer added that a rape case has been registered under Indian Penal Code (IPC) section 376 against the government employee.
