Two Sukma martyrs' bodies flown to Nagpur

Nagpur:

The bodies of two CRPF personnel hailing from Vidarbha, who were killed in a naxal attack in Chhatisgarh’s Sukma district, reached Nagpur on Sunday. Bodies of Premdas Mendhe from Wardha and Nandkumar Atram from Chandrapur reached Babasaheb Ambedkar Nagpur airport.

Twelve CRPF personnel were killed on Saturday and their arms looted when naxals ambushed their patrol party in Sukma.The remains were flown to Nagpur from Raipur by a helicopter, informed a release issued by the District Information Office at Nagpur.

Nagpur guardian minister Chandrashekhar Bawankule paid tributes to the martyrs at the airport premises.The bodies were later taken to their native villages by road.
