Under-19 Indian cricketer player Harpeet Singh on Monday morning rammed his car directly to the platform no1 of Andheri railway station. The incident took place at 7.20 am.
The Railway Protection Force (RPF) officers have confiscated the vehicle and taken the driver into custody. He will be booked under various sections of Railway Act.
On the other hand, Harpreet claimed that he was on his way for net practice. He lost his control on the car and rammed into platform no. 1 of Andheri Railway station.
The incident caused chaos at the Andheri railway station as daily commuters were rushing to catch the local trains to their offices.
He has played Ranaji tournament and was recently selected in U 19 team of India. He lives in Malad area of Mumbai.
