Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath's father Aanad Bisht is confident that his son will become prime minister of India in 2024. Speaking to media at an event in Uttrakhand, Bisht said that Uttar Pradesh needed Yogi to turn it into 'Uttam Pradesh'. I am satisfied the way development is spreading through the state under his rule, he added.
The demands and speculations for Yogi Adityanath to be Bharatiya Janata Party's candidate for the PM post have been rife ever since he was named CM of the political powerhouse of India.
The chanting and slogans to this effect were most resoundingly heard during CM Adityanath's rally in Patna in June. "He is a firebrand leader and next big thing in the BJP. He is definitely going to be a strong PM candidate in 2024 elections, if not 2019," said Nishant Kumar, a resident of Darbhanga town had remarked during the rally.
