New Delhi:

As a token of appreciations that voters exercised their right to vote, Election Commission officials in Baraut, Baghpat gave roses to women voters, who came to cast their vote.

Roses were distributed at polling booths, in a bid to incentivize women voters to vote.

Voting is underway in 15 districts in Western UP on Saturday.  This time, Election Commission is leaving no stone unturned to woo voters and cast their votes. Earlier, in Goa polls also, several first-time female voters were given pink teddy bears .

The polling booths were decorated with pink balloons, pink table cloths, pink walls, while polling officials were also seen wearing pink clothes.
