New Delhi:

A man with a country-made pistol was arrested by the Uttar Pradesh police outside Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s residence in Lucknow on Friday, news agency ANI reported.

The police said that Pramod Soni wanted to shoot himself over a family crisis.

After investigating him for nearly two hours, the police said that he was upset over a dowry case filed by his wife in 2016.

Soni wanted to meet the UP CM so that he could narrate him the case filed by his wife, police said.
