Delhi-bound 14723 Kanpur-Bhiwani Kalindi Express collides with goods train in Tundla, rail traffic on Kanpur-Delhi route affected

New Delhi:

14723 Kanpur-Bhiwani Kalindi Express met with an accident in the wee hours of Monday morning. The train collided with a goods train in Tundla en route Delhi. No injuries have been reported. 

The Kalindi Express derailed after a collision with a goods train near Agra crossing. There were no injuries but the accident has affected the up and down traffic on the Delhi-Hawda route, an official said. 

According to initial reports the accident took place at around 1:30 AM when the train had left Tundla in Uttar Pradesh for Delhi. 

Six bogies of the Kalindi Express derailed, disruptingtraffic on the Kanpur-Delhi route, PTI said.

More details are awaited.
