Defending champion Mumbai Indians are still looking to register their first win of the season, will go head-to-head against Delhi Daredevils on Saturday. Gautam Gambhir-led Daredevils are also winless in the tournament so far.
On one hand, Mumbai Indians faced defeats by the hands of Chennai Super Kings and SunRisers Hyderabad while on the other hand, Delhi Daredevils tasted defeat at the hand of Kings XI Punjab and Rajasthan Royals.
Mumbai Indians powerful batting hands which includes Rohit Sharma, Elvin Lewis, Kieron Pollard and SuryaKumar Yadav failed to impress in the first two games of the league.
Meanwhile, Delhi Daredevils also has good batting line-up including Gautam Gambhir, Rishab Pant, Aussie Glenn, Maxwell, Jason Roy and Colin Munro.
However, Delhi has two important bowlers Rahul Tewatia and Shahbaz Nadeem, who can prove to be crucial in the Match No 9 against the home side Mumbai.
Talking statistically, Mumbai Indians and Delhi Daredevils has faced on 20 occasions, out of which Mumbai has come out on top 11 times and Delhi has won 9 times.
Mumbai Indians has won 5 out of 6 matches at the Wankhede Stadium against Delhi Daredevils.
