Earlier on March 26, 2016 during a function at Goa Naik claimed that cure for diseases such as diabetes and cancer was attainable by yoga as per the developments made by Bengaluru-based Swami Vivekananda Yoga Anusandhana Samsthana (S-VYASA).
Talking to reporters, Naik said that his ministry had set itself a target to establish an Ayush center in every district in order to promote some of India's ancient medicinal practices.
