A 23-year old Chloe Longstaff who as suffering with daily headaches, caused by high blood pressure from being overweight, managed to achieve a remarkable change over the past two years simply by changing her lifestyle for the long term.
Chloe, who is a fitness blogger has lost seven stone in the last two years by swapping her once-beloved junk food for a healthy, high protein nutrition plan. She began exercising firstly starting out with walks and eventually working out regularly to the gym. She received a wake-up call when she realized that her bridesmaid dress would have to be altered so she could fit into it.
After losing 7 stone you would think it gets easier to control your eating habits, well it doesn't. I still have constant daily battles with myself over food. Even though I'm extremely disciplined with food (most of the time), I have a major weakness for sweet treats and often I give in to temptation but not today. Today I won the fight against myself when I looked at the huuuge selection of goodies in the office and said to myself 'one small treat won't hurt'. Today I have been strong and I'm smiling at the progress I made, it might be a small thing but then I put these trousers on and reminded myself that every small decision, every small change adds up to huge results 👏🙌 #weightloss#weightlossjourney#healthylifestyle#fitness#fitfam#workout#workoutmotivation#goals#motivation#progress#fitspo#fitspiratio#fitnessmotivation##midweekmotivation#selflove#selfbelief#positivethinking#positivevibes#results
Nights out 2 years ago vs now. I've felt anxious the past few days, I missed 3 days of the gym, had a night out where I drank waayy too much and I've been eating ever what I feel like. I've worked hard for the last 12 weeks to get into my mini shorts for my holiday next week and I've been worried that I've undone my hard work - sounds crazy but this journey is a constant mental battle. I made it to the gym today and I feel better mentally for going, I've eaten well today with a few treats tonight and I know that a couple of days away from my usual plan will not undo 2 years of work. Sometimes you have to look back to see how far you've come. Sometimes you have to remind yourself of everything you've been through and know that you can get through whatever is thrown at you next. #weightloss#weightlossjourney#fitness#fitspo#fitfam#ukfitfam#fitnessmotivation#dedication#bodybuilding#workout#workoutmotivation#girlswholift#sundayselflove#beforeandafter#transformation#positivevibes#sundaythoughts#bodyconfidence
She wrote on her blog and explains how did she managed to achieve healthy and fit body, ‘’I have not had any weight loss surgery, taken any ‘magic’ pills or shortcuts, I have lost all of my weight by following a healthy balanced lifestyle consisting of lots of healthy food and plenty of exercise’’.
Explaining why she hates diet, she wrote ‘’To me, a diet gives the impression of a short term fix, possibly before a holiday or other occasion when people want to feel good before going away. While a quick-fix diet may provide you with a quick weight loss in a short amount of time, it’s likely that all the weight lost will be gained very easily and very quickly’’.
