According to an eight-year-long study people habituated to eating french fries twice a week are more likely to die in an early age.
The study reveals the shocking truth that the regular consumption of those golden potato sticks may lead you towards death due to the forming of Acrylamide after starchy foods fried at high temperatures and US government health agencies termed it as 'carcinogen'.
This deadly chemical compound may also cause tumors in adrenal glands, the thyroid and the lungs.
People having this delicious fast food twice or more in a week are more likely to suffer a heart attack in comparison to those who are not addicted to this one.
Researchers have further warned this dish lovers to give up to this deadly habit and choose something new in order to avoid an early death.
4,440 participants between ages of 45 and 79 years were under observation during the study and 236 people among them died due to a circulatory system overloaded with cholesterol and other toxins.
"The frequent consumption of fried potatoes appears to be associated with an increased mortality risk. Additional studies in larger sample sizes should be performed to confirm if overall potato consumption is associated with higher mortality risk", said the study published in the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition.
Not only the french fries, many forms of potato coocked by frying at high temperatures like hash browns and tater tots are happened to be one of the main reasons of early death.
