Thiruvananthapuram:
For the first time, the Thiruvananthapuram medical college hospital has successfully changed 41-year-old woman' sex after an operation.
According to the press release from the hospital, the patient has fully recovered from the surgery.
The patient, right from childhood had the mental framework of a boy and wanted to live like a boy. Her parents finally agreed to her plea for the sex change operation, the release said.
A team of doctors led by Dr K Ajaykumar performed the complex surgery.
