Akshaya Tritiya or Akha Teej is considered to be as auspicious as any other major Hindu festival in India. Akshaya Tritiya falls on the third tithi (lunar day) of the Shukla Paksha in the month of Vaisakha. This year, Akshaya Tritiya begins on April 18 at 10.29am and will end on April 19 at 6.55 am.
According to Hindu mythology, akshaya tritiya is believed to bring good luck and success.
