The October 13 episode of Kaun Banega Crorepati started with rollover contestant Aditya Dubey. Aditya who hails from Bhopal had cleared the first level of KBC on October 12 episode. Dubey ended up winning Rs 1.6 lakh on the show after using all his lifelines. He opted for Jodi Daar life line for the Rs. 3.2 lakh question but was still not sure about the answer. It was at this stage, he quit the game.

Some of the questions which were asked to Aditya include- Raymonds was established in which year and GMT named after which country ? The correct answer was 1925 and England respectively. He was also asked which is the largest constituent of blood by volume. The answer for the same is Plasma.

Kaun Banega Crorepati has introduced a very unique segment called Nayi Chah Nayi Raah where special guests who have brought changes to the society are invited. The Friday episode of KBC 9 saw Sonam Wangchuk gracing the hot seat.

Sonam Wangchuk is actually the person who is said be the inspiration behind Aamir Khan's character in the hit movie 3 Idiots. Sonam who hails from Ladakh is the man behind the foundation of Students' Educational and Cultural Movement of Ladakh (SECMOL). SECMOL is working to provide a better educational platform for Ladakh's children.

Mr Wangchuk came on KBC 9 along with his a student and ended up winning Rs. 50 lakhs.He was asked- in English how many ‘A’ occurs while writing between 1 to 100. Sonam gave the correct answer which was zero.

Sonam Wangchuk has been able to earn recognition from all the corners with his invention of Ice Stupa in the year 2013. The engineer gave a detailed explanation about how the invention is actually helping the people in Ladakh and taking them towards a greener life.
