The eleventh season of the famous reality show Bigg Boss comes to an end with Shilpa Shinde as the winner.
Bigg Boss, which is the Indian remake of the American reality show, Big Brother, has gained a great amount of popularity in the Indian TV sets. Every year the viewers wait eagerly for the start of the show and witness popular TV stars be a part of it.
In the last 10 seasons, the reality show has got 10 winners and now the 11th winner is also in line.
So, with the winner of season 11 announced, we bring to you the previous winners of the show.
In the eleventh season of Bigg Boss, ‘Bhabhiji Ghar Par Hain’ actress Shilpa Shinde emerged as the winner. This season witnessed TV actors like Hina Khan, Hiten Tejwani, ‘Roadies’ contestants like Priyank Sharma, dancer Sapna Chaudhrary, along with commoners like Arshi Khan, Puneesh Sharma, Bandagi Kalra, and many others.
The tenth season of Bigg Boss was quite special in itself, not just because the show completed a decade, but also because it was for the first time in the history of the show, aam aadmi were welcomed in the house. The season made history for another thing as a commoner, Manveer Gurjar, became the winner of the show.
‘MTV Roadies 12’ and ‘MTV Splitsvilla 8’ winner Prince Narula became the winner of the season nine. This season saw a new twist as the housemates entered the house in pairs. While many housemates found it difficult to deal with the adversities within the house, it was Prince Narula who went to win the show.
Handsome hunk Gautam Gulati won the eighth season of Bigg Boss which became his golden ticket to enter Bollywood. The actor portrayed the role of Indian cricketer Ravi Shastri in Mohammad Azharuddin’s biopic Azhar. Besides this, his controversial kissing moment with Diandra Soares inside the BB house bagged him a lot of popularity.
Season seven witnessed the Gauhar Khan as the winner. The lady remained in limelight throughout the season, either because of her emotional drama or because of her in-house love story with Kushal Tandon. Her love affair with Kushal ended after the show got over.
Indian television’s famous vamp, Kamolika aka Urvashi Dholakia, emerged as the winner of the sixth season. This season welcomed back Salman Khan as the host and also had some interesting characters like Navjot Singh Sidhu, Imam Siddiqui, and many others.
Television actress Juhi Parmar made a comeback on small screen with a bang as she won the fifth season of Bigg Boss. The show was hosted by Sanjay Dutt and featured several interesting contestants like Shakti Kapoor, Akashdeep Saigal, and Sunny Leone etc.
‘Kasauti Zindagi Ki’ fame Shweta Tiwari stood as the winner of the fourth season. The lady gave everyone a tough competition and went on to win the show. Renowned wrestler Khali emerged as the first runner-up of the show. This was the first time when Salman Khan took up as the host.
Hosted by Big B, the third season saw Vindu Dara Singh, son of Dara Singh, emerge as the winner. He won a prize money of INR 10 million. The third season saw an ensemble of contestants like Poonam Dhillon, KRK, Shamita Shetty, Raju Srivastav, etc.
Ashutosh Kaushik became the talk of the town after he won two reality shows back to back - 'Roadies 5' and 'Bigg Boss 2'. The Saharanpur guy took home the award of Rs. 1 crore, but despite his victory, the season 2 winner has been missing from the limelight.
Season 1 saw ‘Aashiqui’ movie’s hero, Rahul Roy, emerge as the winner. The actor, who went missing from the silver screen after a couple of movies, once again came into limelight after participating and winning the first season ever of Bigg Boss. He was followed by Carol Gracias and Ravi Kishan, who became the first and second runner-ups respectively.
