Indian film industry has given some classic songs to the audience in every era be it during Amitabh Bachchan's time or during Madhuri Dixit's reign.
But looks like after those stupendous numbers ruling the chartbusters, it's time to recreate those songs with a modern touch.
It's been just two months since the year has begun and Bollywood has come up with some foot-tapping revamped versions of some popular hit numbers of 90's and even before that.
So as the trend of recreating classic songs takes over Bollywood, we bring you recent modern versions of the hit songs:
Laila O Laila - The song which was a recreation of Zeenat Aman's popular song from 1980 song 'Qurbani' starring Vinod Khanna and Feeroz Khan in the lead. The recreated version was added on in Shah Rukh Khan's first release of the year 'Raees' and featured Sunny Leone.
Humma Humma - A.R Rahman's classic number 'Humma Humma' from 'Bombay' was recreated by the musical maestro himself for Aditya Roy Kapur and Shraddha Kapoor's 'OK Jaanu'
Tamma Tamma - Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt created a buzz when they recreated Sanjay Dutt and Madhuri Dixit's popular song from 90's release 'Thaanedar' for their movie 'Badrinath Ki Dulhaniya'. Indeed, Varun and Alia won accolades for their amazing dance moves in the song.
Tu Cheez Badi Hai Mast Mast - Akshay Kumar and Raveena Tandon's hit song from 'Mohra' - 'Tu Cheez Badi Hai Mast Mast' will be recreated for Abbas-Mustan's upcoming directorial 'Machine'. The revamped version will feature newcomer Mustafa along with Kiara Advani.
