Tabu has been ruling millions of hearts across the globe for more than three decades now. From playing the role of a submissive homemaker in the film Chachi 420, a daring police inspector in Drishyam to a cheating wife in the thriller Andhdhun, Tabu surely knows how to win her audience with her mind-boggling performances and script choices. She has won the National Film Award for Best Actress twice, and has received six Filmfare Awards, including a record for Critics Awards for Best Actress. She has also been awarded with the Padma Shri, which is the fourth highest civilian honour of the country. Maachis (1996): Maachis proved to be an important film for the actress and she made her mark for herself in Bollywood film industry.
