Bigg Boss is one of the biggest reality shows on Indian television. The Salman Khan hosted show is known for its exciting mix of participants who come from different backgrounds. Fans eagerly wait for the show every year with anticipation. Every year, the makers come up with a new theme which increases the excitement amongst the viewers. Housemates have to stay for a period of three months in the house and complete innovative & interesting tasks.

The anticipation for the eleventh season of Bigg Boss is literally increasing day by day. The show is expected to be launched on October 1. The makers have incorporated an intriguing twist in the form of 'Padosi' theme. One of the promos shows Salman Khan saying 'Yeh hai Bigg Boss season gyarah, padosi aarahe hai bajane barah. This gives us a little sneak peek on what we can expect from the eleventh season.Once again, the show will have a perfect mix of celebrities and commoners who will be battling against each other.
Bigg Boss season ten opened doors for common men for the first time in history. Eight commoners entered the house with the aim of winning the show. They gave a tough fight to the celebrities and were applauded by the audience for providing regular dose of entertainment. The winner trophy was lifted by Manveer Gurjar, who was a commoner himself.
Bigg Boss Nau aka season nine was presented to the audience with the theme titled 'Double Trouble. The promos for the season created excitement as Salman Khan used the words, ''Yaha ek karega doosre ko trouble kyunki one plus one is double''. For the first time, the contestants entered the show in pairs. The pairs were tied with each other in the first week. Prince Narula won the ninth season of the reality show.
Colors launched Bigg Boss season 8 with an aviation theme on September 21, 2014. The house set up in Lonavala resembled the interior of an airplane. The house resembling the aircraft has its own business class and economy section. Gautam Gulati ended up winning the eight season of the show.
The makers gave the seventh season of Bigg Boss an unique theme of 'Hell or Heaven'. The house was divided into two halves and depicted the animosities of hell and luxuries if heaven.
Housemates living in the heaven like house had a far comfortable stay than the ones staying in hell like dungeon house. The season was won by actress and model Gauhar Khan.
