Arun Jaitley: "I want to make it clear that there is no proposal and no plan for imposing income tax on farmers. No tax will be imposed on them. If someone misuses the provisions of income tax act, they are probed by the Income Tax Department. Many ‘prominent people’ are said to be involved and are being probed. Please don't say it is political victimisation if names come out after that (probe)."

BSP supremo Mayawati raised the black money issue in Parliament. The big figure scam exposed by News Nation in the agriculture sector was also praised by several political leaders. BSP supremo said,“News Nation has exposed the big fraud in agriculture sector. This is a very serious issue. I demand that a high-level probe should be conducted in the matter. Strict action must be taken against those involved in the black money scam.” Not only this, she also asked for a probe panel for an immediate action on the scam that broke out.
