Day 1: India defeated West Indies in the first Test match held at Antigua by an innings and 92 runs to reach 1-0 up in the four-match series.To win the series it was important for India to take up nine wickets on Day 4, whereas on the other handto make india bat West Indies needed a total of 323 runs. However, India ranked on top throughout the day.
Day 2: Ravichandran Ashwin made his third century against the West Indies on the second day of the series. Ashwin's century along with a ton of hetrics from skipper Virat Kohli which kept India in command in this Test. Players like Wriddhiman Saha and Amit Mishra also made some useful contribution, allowing India to reach 566 with 8 on board.
Day 3: Mohammed Shami and Umesh Yadav did a fablous job by picking up four wickets setting West Indies all out at 243of the first Test at Antigua. The day finished on 21/1.
Day 4: India who opted to bat on the fourth day gave a target total of 566 declaring for 8, with players like Virat Kholi (200), R Ashwin (113), Shikhar Dhawan (84) and Amit Mishra (53). West Indies all out for 243, with Kraigg Brathwaite and Shane Dowrich making half centuries.
