An atypical study, led by a group of scientists from University of Arizona has found something exciting regarding the invention of aliens. The study shows that people will be actually happy with the discovery of those extra-terrestrials lives and waiting eagerly to welcome aliens in the planet Earth.
While earlier studies suggested that alien-hunters are playing a dangerous game challenging the existence of our planet, the latest research proves something completely contradictory.
Researchers from Arizona University believes that ‘earthlings’ are far more positive in their thoughts about meeting extra-terrestrials.
"If we came face to face with life outside of Earth, we would actually be pretty upbeat about it," said Michael Varnum, Assistant Professor of Arizona State University.
"So far, there's been a lot of speculation about how we might respond to this kind of news, but until now, almost no systematic empirical research," he added.
In order to analyse people's reaction regarding discovery of extra-terrestrials, scientists had them read news reports about a number of potential alien discoveries.
The study shows that their reactions were very positive and they also described their thought on the discovery of microbial life being found on another planet.
In short people were more positive about the news of potential alien life than negative.
On the other hand, Stephen Hawking, the world-famous physicist and cosmologist warned people of the consequences of trying to contact these small life forms around the cosmos. He believes that alien seekers are playing a dangerous game and aliens would conquer and colonise Earth whenever they will be able to discover the planet.
"If aliens visit us, the outcome could be much like when Columbus landed in America, which didn't turn out well for the Native Americans," he said in an interview.
However, it’s been a long time, in fact more than 80 years that scientists across the world are working hard to contact with aliens and different groups of scientists made different kind of revelations about the same.

Moreover, a small group of people believe that, American space agency NASA has been hiding the real information of those extra-terrestrials lives and is expected to announce something big anytime soon.
