Day 5 of 2018 Asian Games in Jakarta and Palembang, Indonesia was a good one for India as they added three more medals to their ranks on Thursday, taking their tally to 18 at the ongoing Asiad 2018. India's 15-year-old shooter Shadul Vihan won a silver medal in men's Double Trap on the 5th day of the 2018 Asian Games, while Ankita Raina bagged a bronze in the women's single Tennis event.

Apart from all the glitz and glory, there was a suffering heartbreak for the Men's Kabaddi team as Iran handed them a shock defeat in the semi-finals of the Kabaddi event by 18-27. The team settled with a bronze medal, which itself is a major upset for the team, such are the standards that the Men's Kabaddi team had placed for themselves after being undefeated in the Asian Games since its inauguration.
