CWG 2018, Day 6 LIVE Updates: India men's hockey team beat Malaysia to reach semi-final

After an eventful fifth day in Commonwealth Games 2018, India on Tuesday started its gold quest at Gold Coast on day six on a positive note. While men's hockey team defeated Malaysia 2-1 to qualify for the semi-final, four shooters qualified for the finals of their respective events.

However, India's ace shooter Gagan Narang and Chain Singh got eliminated from 50m Rifle Prone event. However, the medal hopes are still alive in shooting after Heena Sidhu and Annu Singh qualified for the finals in Women's 25m Pistol Qual.

Team India's Ayyasamy Dharun also crashed out of the Gold Coast 2018 Athletics Men's 400m Hurdles Heats after he could only clock 49.85 seconds against a qualifying best of 48.78 seconds.

# 05: 30 IST: Gagan Narang and Chain Singh confirm qualification for 50m Rifle Prone Men's Final. Narang shoots 102.5, 104.8, 102.3, 103.2, 103.4 and 100.8 for a total score of 617.0 while Chain Singh shoots 104.3, 104.2, 103.1, 100.9, 102.3 and 99.4 for a total score of 614.2.
