The much-awaited clash of ICC Champions Trophy 2017 between India and Pakistan will be played at Edgbaston, Birmingham on Sunday. The defending champion India will look to continue their winning streak against the arch rival when they face off Pakistan in their opening match.

However, Pakistani captain Sarfraz Ahmed while addressing a pre-match conference shown confidence the young Pakistani side and said India looks better team on paper but that doesn’t make you win matches. The team which perform better on the field will win the match.

“On paper, India looks better, but nowadays time has changed and the team who will play perform on the day will win the match,” said Pakistani captain Sarfraz Ahmed.

The Pakistani coach Miki Arthur along with Sarfraz announced the 12-player team for Sunday’s clash against India.

Junaid Khan, Haris Sohail and Fakhar Zaman have been dropped from the squad, leaving Azhar Ali, Ahmed Shahzad, Babar Azam, Shoaib Malik, Mohammad Hafeez, Shadab Khan, Fahim Ashraf, Hassan Ali, Imad Wasim, Mohammad Amir, Shoaib Malik and Wahab Riaz.

"We have a lot of faith and a lot of confidence," Arthur said.
