After losing the first match in the ‘Nidahas Trophy 2018’, team India came back with a bang in the series. Rohit Sharma-led team will enter R Premadasa Stadium to clinch a win against Bangladesh and the seal their spot in the Finals.
The fifth match in the triangular series will not be an easy one for either of the team, as both the team are currently in a winning mode in the tournament.
In the last match between Bangladesh and Sri Lanka, Mahmudullah-lead Bangladeshi team pulled off a historic win over Sri Lanka by chasing down 215 runs target.
In a post-match interview, Mahmudullah said, “I think the skills are there. We need to be smart to take that calculated risk. Taking on a particular bowler who we think can be targeted, these sort of things we need to apply when we are playing. These things will give us that Bangladesh brand of T20 cricket’’.
On the other hand, the spirit of team India is also high after clinching a big victory against the Home side by 6 wickets.
A win in the fifth Twenty20 International match on Wednesday will lead Indian side c confirmed berth in the Finals.
Despite missing some of the big names in the team including Virat Kohli, MS Dhoni and Jasprit Bumrah, team India under the captaincy of Rohit Sharma has managed to pull out well after losing the first match of the tri-series.
