India vs England | Kedar Jadhav emerges as pivotal all-rounder for Indian team

Kedar Jadhav hit a scintillating century in the Pune ODI as India defeated England by three wickets. The all-rounder offered pivotal support to Virat Kohli and guided the team towards the massive chase of 351 runs.

India was teetering at 63/4 when Jadhav joined Kohli in the middle. A brutal assault by him witnessed him scoring a ton in only 65 balls. Statistically, his was the 6th fastest century by an Indians in ODI'S - Virat Kohli (52), Virender Sehwag (60) Virat Kohli(61) Azhar (62) Yuvraj Singh (64) and Jadhav (65 balls).

Kedar had made his One Day international debut for India against Sri Lanka on 16 November 2014 and Twenty20 international debut against Zimbabwe on 17 July 2015.

Kedar has played 13 ODIs and 5 T20s for the Indian team till date and has emerged as a force to reckon with. Whereas he has two centuries and 356 runs at an astounding batting average of 59.33 in ODIs, he has also picked up six wickets in the same format. As far as T20s are concerned, he has scored 91 runs constituting of a half century. 

Jadhav is a brilliant right-handed batsman and off spinner from Maharashtra, India. He made his first-class debut during the 2007-08 Ranji season and has been a regular with his state side. Technically sound, Kedar Jadhav has played many crucial knocks for Maharashtra and also has the ability to bat aggressively when required.

He was awarded an IPL contract by Delhi Daredevils (DD) in 2010 and he straightaway made an impact by scoring a match-winning quick-fire fifty in his debut match. He then moved to Kochi Tuskers Kerala the next season before returning to the Daredevils in 2012. Jadhav has also represented India A and West Zone cricket teams too.
