New Delhi:

India shall be taking on Sri Lanka in the second T20 match of the three match series at the Holkar Stadium in Indore. The match is scheduled to begin at 7:00 pm. The Indian team shall be high in confidence after beating the visitors comprehensively in the series opener at Cuttack.

In the absence of Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma was once again impressive with his captaincy skills. Young turk Lokesh Rahul once again showcased his batting skills by notching up an impressive half century and laying down a strong foundation for his team.

Meanwhile it was MS Dhoni's whirlwind knock which helped the side post a healthy 180 run total. Dhoni was given good company by Manish Pandey who played a valuable cameo of 32 runs.

In reply to a mammoth total, Sri Lanka kept on losing wickets regularly and never got a partnership going. The Indian spin duo of Kuldeep Yadav and Yuzvendra Chahal wrecked the Lankan middle order by picking up wickets in a heap.

Kuldeep Yadav was adjudged the man of the match for his stellar bowling spell which accounted for 4 Lankan dismissals. Sri Lanka would have to pull up their socks in all departments to give some sort of a fight to the Indians.
