India on Sunday defeated Sri Laka by an innings and 53 runs in the 2nd Test of three match series. Playing first, India had scored massive 622 runs in the first innings.

India on Sunday defeated Sri Laka by an innings and 53 runs in the 2nd Test of three match series. Playing first India had scored massive 622 runs in the first innings. In the reply, Sri Lanka was all out for 183 courtesy Ravichandran Ashwin's 26th five-wicket haul and enforced the follow-on on the hosts. Following India's first innings total Sri Lanka could only manage to score 386 runs.
