David Warner, Aaron Finch, Nathan Coulter-Nile and Kane Richardson starred with the bat and ball as Australia defeated India by 21 runs. Warner and Finch gave strong start to the Australian innings with Warner scoring a century in his 100th ODI. Richardson and Coulter-Nile then gave strong performances with the ball to derail India's chase in pursuit of 335 runs.

Australia defeated India by 21 runs in the 4th match of the series at Bengaluru's M.Chinnaswamy stadium. Australia scored 334/5 in 50 overs and India could manage only 313/8 in reply.
