New Delhi:

The Committee of Administrators (CoA) head Vinod Rai on Saturday spoke about the ongoing controversy around resignation of head coach Anil Kumble.

Rai said that there were perceptional, professional issues between coach and captain. He added that captain has to play in field ultimately and Kumble's role has been impeccable.

Speaking on N Srinivasan, Rai said they are not been mandated by Supreme Court to sit on judgement on people's eligibility (for BCCI meet) and attendance register will go to SC.

On the issue of bilateral series with Pakistan, Rai said that if government says you don't play, you don't play and ICC decided that bilateral issues will be outside its remit.
