New Delhi:

Indian skipper Virat Kohli on Sunday notched his 30th ton in the fifth ODI against Sri Lanka. By doing this, he has equalled Ricky Ponting’s record of 30 centuries who also happens to be second to the highest century maker Sachin Tendulkar.

Kohli is on an amazing run in the calendar year 2017. He has also completed his 1000 runs in the calendar year 2017. Apparently, he is the first one to achieve this feat in 2017.

With 30 centuries in less than 200 ODIs, Indian skipper is touted as the best in business at the moment. He is also most likely to break the record of Sachin Tendulkar’s highest 49 centuries in ODIs.

For all record, batting legends like Sachin,  Ponting, Kallis, Sangakarra, Lara, Mark Waugh, Jayasuriya and Gayle brought up tons in every 12th/13th innings, Kohli does it in every  6th inning. His conversion rate is best at the moment.
