Rio Olympics silver medalist PV Sindhu stormed into the finals of the Korea Open Super Series after defeating her Chinese opponent He Bingjiao in three tough games on Saturday.

Sindhu set up a title clash with World Champion Japanese Nozomi Okuhara. The women's singles finals shall be a repeat of the 2017 World Championships.

Sindhu dint break too much sweat in the opening game, clinching it 21-10. The Indian shuttler maintained a firm grip over her Chinese opponent right from the very start of the match.However, He Bingjioa made a resounding comeback in the second game to win it 21-17 to level the tie. Sindhu held her nerves to win the third and deciding game 21-16 to win the pulsating semis.
