Nokia 8 that has finally hit the Asian market is all set to make its way to the Indian Market. It was recently in Malaysia adn is likely to become the first Android-powered Nokia smartphone to receive the Oreo update.
The Nokia smartphone is expected to get the Android 8.0 Oreo update by the end of this year. Till then, Nokia 8 users would have to do with Android 7.1.1 Nougat OS, which the phone currently runs on.
However, Nokia 8 is not the only Nokia-branded smartphone to have Oreo update facilty. HMD's Chief Product Officer, Juho Sarvikas, has recently confirmed that all the Android-powered Nokia handsets would get updated to Android 8.0 Oreo. Talking about other Nokia smartphones, the upcoming Nokia 9 was also spotted on GFXBench recently with Android Oreo.
