HTC U11 'Squeezable phone' with Edge sense launch in India today: Check out price and features

HTC U11 smartphone with the new ‘Edge sense’ feature will be launched in India on Friday. HTC’s new U11 is also called the ‘Squeezable phone’ due to its Edge sense feature. HTC U11 expected price will be somewhere around Rs 50,000 in India.

HTC U11 smartphone is listed as coming soon on HTC’s website in India.

HTC U11 comes with fascinating technology Edge Sense, where a user can squeeze the smartphone to set certain commands and functions.

For example, the squeeze can be customised to open an app, or a game, open the camera app, take a picture, open email app or activate any of the voice assistants.

The ‘squeeze’ feature can be customised for whatever action user prefer. HTC’s Edge Sense can be used even with gloves on, and the phone will work fine.

HTC U11 powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 mobile platformvi packs a punch with the first 10 nanometer mobile processor.

This brings into speed, amazing graphics, impressively smooth performance and longer battery life. User get 25 percent faster graphics than the HTC 10 version, with 35 percent or 3 hours more video playback, 30 percent or 8 hours more music playback and 43 percent or 3.5 hours longer web browsing time via LTE network.vii

HTC U11 comes with 12MP rear camera with the company’s UltraPixel 3 one. It has 1.4μm pixel size, UltraSpeed Autofocus, BSI sensor and OIS. The aperture is ƒ/1.7 and there’s Dual LED flash on board.
