Telecom company Reliance Jio announced a cashback of up to Rs 3,300 for new and existing Prime users’ hours after closing its “Triple Cashback” offer.
The “Triple Cashback” offer had benefits up to Rs 2,599 and those opting for Jio recharges of Rs 399 and above will get cashback vouchers from Jio as well as cashback and discounts on Grofers, OYO, Yatra, and Paytm Mall among others.
The cashback offer of Jio started on December 26 and will continue up to January 15, 2018 and can be availed only by Prime subscribers.
The cashback offer, which is called “Surprise Cashback Offer”, will give a cashback to those Prime subscribers who recharge their accounts with Rs 399 or above from MyJio or Jio.com will get cashback of Rs 400 in the form of eight vouchers.
These vouchers can be used to deduct Rs 50 while purchasing future recharge packs. Additional to this, Jio will offer instant cashback of Rs 300 on every recharge by e-commerce platforms like AmazonPay, Paytm, Mobikwik, PhonePe, BHIM AxisTax, FreeCharge, etc.
This, in turn, means if a person joins the Jio network as a new Prime member and uses Amazon Pay to buy a pack of Rs 459, they will get vouchers worth Rs 400 from Jio and Rs 99 cashback from Amazon Pay, which totally makes Rs 499.
Alongside the vouchers, there is a 20 per cent discount on Zoomcar of up to Rs 1,000, discount of 30 per cent on OYO Hotel booking and 50 per cent OYO Money cashback of up to Rs 1,500, 100 per cent cashback on Paytm on up to Rs 2,000 with a minimum purchase of Rs 1,000.
Other offers include 20 percent discount on BigBash on a minimum purchase of Rs 600, Rs 300 cashback on Grofers on order of Rs 1,500, and Rs 1,000 off on roundtrip and Rs 500 off on one-way bookings on domestic flights through Yatra.
Earlier in December, Jio launched its “Happy New Year 2018†offer by launching two new packs, of Rs 199 and Rs 299, which offer up to 2 GB data per day.
