Tech savvies have all the reasons to feel on top of the world as Vivo V9 is set to hit the Indian market on Friday, March 23. Ahead of its India launch, the mouth-watering device has officially been unveiled in Thailand.

While the new Vivo smartphone sports an iPhone X-like notch along with AI (artificial intelligence) selfie feature, price and availability of the gadget are yet to be revealed.
However, speculations have been rife that the Vivo V9 will be priced north of Rs 24,000, according to an Indonesian online retailer.

Going by an official listing in Thailand, Vivo V9 has preloaded AR Stickers, Face Unlock, and the Face Beauty features. The gadget comes with a Karaoke Mode which will give you a smarter playback experience as never before. Eliminating background noise from incoming calls and messages during video games is one of the flagship features of the device.

Talking about the specifications, Vivo V9 will have a 6.3-inch full-HD+ (1080x2280 pixels) in-cell IPS Full View Display panel with 19:9 aspect ratio and runs on Android 8.1 Oreo-based Fun touch OS 4.0. An octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 626 SoC, coupled with 4GB of RAM is present as a powerhouse behind the scenes.

In terms of storage, the Vivo V9 has 64GB of storage, which is expandable up to 256GB via microSD card. The brand-new gadget has also features like FM radio, 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v4.2, GPS/ A-GPS, and Micro-USB with USB OTG support. Vivo V9 is powered with 3260mAh battery.
Additionally, you will get a rear-facing fingerprint sensor along with a 24-megapixel camera sensor at the front of the device. The camera sensor supports a Portrait mode, which offers AR Stickers and Face Beauty specifically for selfies.
On the design front, Vivo V9 is much identical to the Vivo X21, which was recently launched in China.
