Tech savvies will go crazy over this piece of information as popular instant messaging service, WhatsApp is reportedly working on to introduce an app for Apple iPad users.
WABetaInfo took to micro-blogging site Twitter to reveal that the Facebook-owned messaging service is gearing up for a dedicated application for Apple's tablet lineup. WABetaInfo is a reliable source to get significant updates regarding the forthcoming features of WhatsApp.
However, there is still a bit of confusion regarding the launch and users are not well-informed whether the company is planning for a standalone application or will just release a client application like the WhatsApp Web for Windows and MacBook users.
Despite a bunch of existing confusions, following references in the latest desktop version (WhatsApp Desktop 0.2.6968) have confirmed the news.

Whatsapp, which has become one of the most popular messaging apps over the years, has introduced a series of new features like 'Delete for Everyone', 'live location', colourful emoticons and will be making a big splash in the coming months with another app built exclusively for businesses.
While 'Delete for Everyone' feature allows you to delete messages even after sending, a bunch of new emoticons makes your conversations many times funnier and better. With 'Delete for Everyone' users can delete a message within seven minutes from the time of being sent.
Moreover, WhatsApp is also expected to add yet another delight for its users by the end of the year. Titled as 'WhatsApp Pay', the feature will help users to send and receive money in the app itself. The feature works on UPI service.
