Xiaomi has launched a new variant of its Redmi Note 4 smartphone in India. The company has introduced an all-new Lake Blue colour edition of the mid-range smartphone.
Sources claim that the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 Lake blue edition commemorates the company's latest project 'Wake the lake' campaign in Bengaluru. Further, reports say that part of the proceeds from the sale of these special edition devices will be contributed to various initiatives under the government's Swachh Bharat Abhiyan.
Xiaomi redmi Note 4 comes in three storage and price starts at Rs 9,999 for the base model with 2GB RAM+32GB internal storage. The 3GB RAM+32GB ROM variant of Redmi Note 4 costs Rs 10,999, while the one with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage is available at Rs 12,999. The Redmi Note 4 Lake Blue edition will go on sale at 12 pm on September 4.

The phone sports a metallic unibody with round edges. It has a 5.5-inch full-HD display, offering wide-viewing angles. Further, it is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor clocked at 2.2GHz and constitutes of 4GB of RAM and 64GB storage. It runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow topped with the company's native MI UI 8 skin.
Moreover, it is backed by a 4100mAh battery and also comes with an IR blaster and the Mi remote control app. On the camera front, the Note 4 has a 13MP rear camera with dual-LED flash and 5MP front camera. The dual-sim smartphone offers 4G, VoLTE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, Glonass and micro-USB as connectivity options.
