Xiaomi, in a never seen big event, launched the new Mi Smart TV 4 (55) in the Indian market, along with its two new smartphones, Redmi Note 5 and Redmi Note 5 Pro.

The company claims that the Mi Smart TV 4 (55) is the thinnest LED TV in the world, being as thin as a coin and incredibly slim, with 4.9 mm width. The smart TV comes with 4K Ultra HD display with a 55-inch screen, with 4 times full HD display and 8 times the usual HD display.

The Mi Smart TV 4 is powered by a 64-bit quad-core processor, along with 2 GB RAM plus 8 GB internal storage. Along with this, the smart TV comes with Dolby Audio and DTS HD digital surround sound system.

Along with the smart TV, Xiaomi also gives its customers an 11-button, 360-degree free control remote with internal Bluetooth, so that the user can easily get access to the TV. The 55-inch smart TV also comes with India’s first TV Operating System, PatchWall, which brings all the content from a user’s set-top-box right onto the TV’s homepage.

The smart TV comes with additional features like Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, Ethernet which gives up to 100mbps speed, and 3 HDMI and 2 USB ports.

Priced at Rs 39,999, the Mi Smart TV 4 (55) comes with an additional Mi IR Cable to simply plug and play your favourite music and movies.

Xiaomi has partnered with several digital content platforms like Hotstar, Voot, Sony LIV, Hungama Play, Zee 5, Sun Nxt, ALT Balaji, VIU, TVF and Flickstree, to offer high-resolution digital content for its users.

Xiaomi, as a starting limited period offer, is offering a 3-months subscription of Sony LIV and Hungama Play to the customers, which initially costs Rs 619, along with a free Mi IR Cable, which costs Rs 299, and an on-site installation, which costs Rs 1,099.

The Mi Smart TV 4 comes equipped with 48 Direct-to-home cable brands given by more than 3,500 Direct-to-home cable operators.
