Chinese smartphone major Xiaomi which has gained major ground in the Indian telecom market with its Redmi 4 models selling like hot cakes carried out its flash sale of Redmi 4 on Tuesday.
As done in the past, Redmi 4 flash sales witnessed the sale of the flagship smartphone via Amazon India and Mi.com from 12 pm IST. Both sites have their own sale offers, doling out lucrative deals for interested buyers. Also as seen in previous weeks, all three Redmi 4 variants will be made available to buy during Tuesday's flash sale.
The Xiaomi Redmi 4 was launched in India in May, and it is in fact different from the Redmi 4 smartphone that was launched in China in November last year. Instead, the Xiaomi Redmi 4 model brought to India is the Redmi 4X that was launched in China in February.
Xiaomi Redmi 4 is the successor to last year’s Redmi 3s. Buyers will be able to choose from three variants, priced at Rs 6,999, Rs 8,999 and Rs 10,999. While all three variants are powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 435 SoC, the difference is in the RAM and internal storage.

Display: The smartphone comes with a 5-inch HD (720p) IPS display. It is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 435 octa-core SoC under the hood. Keeping the smartphone ticking is a 4,100mAh battery.
Camera: On the camera front, the smartphone sports a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and phase detection auto-focus (PDAF) support. Up front, there is a 5-megapixel selfie camera.
Additional Features: On the connectivity front, the smartphone comes with options like dual-SIM card slots, 4G with VoLTE support, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS.
