UK company’s Kickstarter campaign has claimed Zanco tiny t1 to be the smallest phone in the world. The phone is said to be smaller than a human thumb and weighting lighter than a coin.
According to reports, the campaign has achieved a goal of $29,524 (approx. Rs 18.92 lakh) of its $33,480 (approx. Rs 21.45 lakh).
The company, Zanco, features the tiny t1 to be a ‘talk and text phone’ with an alphanumeric keyboard. The dimensions of the phone are said to be 46.7X21X12mm with a weight of 13 grams.
The device supports single Nano SIM and can store up to 50 SMS messages and 50 call logs (incoming/outgoing included). Powered by MediaTek MTK6261D motherboard, the phone has a 32 MB of RAM. It sports a 0.49-inch OLED (32X64 pixels) display and possesses a 200mAH battery.
The Zanco tiny t1 has connectivity options like 2G, Bluetooth, and Micro-USB. The phone will be available in two 2G band frequencies, 850/1900 and 900/1800 variants, and does not support 3G or 4G frequencies.
The phone does not have any internet access, but the bottom of the device has a mic and a loudspeaker.
Zanco is currently running a Super Early Bird offer that brings the price of the phone to EUR 30 (approx. Rs 2,280), and will be shipped to most parts of the country from May 2018.
