Daler Mehndi sentenced to two years jail term in human trafficking case

Popular Punjabi pop singer Daler Mehndi on Friday was convicted in a 2003 human trafficking case and sentenced to two years imprisonment by Patiala Court. The 'Ho Jayegi Balle Balle' hitmaker, however, was granted bail later. The singer and his brother Shamsher Singh were accused of illegally sending people to United States.
