Apex Court seeks response from EC on plea alleging EVM tampering

The Supreme Court has sought a response from Election Commission (EC) on a plea seeking a probe into allegations of tampering of electronic voting machines (EVMs) during polls, including the recent five Assembly elections and Maharashtra civic polls.
