Bihar: Man lynched in Sitamarhi

A 24-year-old man was lynched by a mob in Sitamarhi district of Bihar following an allegation by a pick-up van driver. The driver alleged that the victim, Rupesh Jha, snatched money from him after which a group of villagers assaulted him with canes near Ramnagar village under Riga police station area. The victim was first taken to the Sitamarhi Sadar hospital and then shifted to the Patna Medical College and Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
