Congress MLA Alpesh Thakor showers money on stage

A video clip purportedly showing Thakor community leader and Congress MLA Alpesh Thakor showering currency notes at a public gathering in Patan district went viral on social media on Sunday. The clip, which has been making rounds on social media portals, showed Thakor, MLA from Radhanpur, showering currency notes of Rs 10 from a stage at a folk music function, 'Dayro', at Sadaram Kumar Chhatralay on Bhabhar Road in Radhanpur town of Patan district late on Saturday night.
