Defence-related espionage racket

A Pakistan High Commission official Muhammad Akhtar was detained, questioned and asked to leave India for his alleged involvement in an espionage ring involving sharing of sensitive defence documents with Pakistan's ISI. Two Indian citizens from Rajasthan were also arrested and identified as Maulana Ramzan and Subhash Jangir
