Delhi government passes budget of Rs 53,000 crore, one-fourth to be put on education

The Aam Aadmi Party government, led by chief Arvind Kejriwal, passed the budget today in the national capital. The budget, presented by Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia, was passed for Rs 53,000 crore. One-fourth of the budget will focus on education and schools in Delhi. Sisodia said CCTV cameras will be installed in institutions so that parents can know about their children. Sisodia said, “1 lakh 20 thousand CCTVs will be installed in schools. There will be more than 150 CCTVs in every school. Parents will be able to see their children through the internet.”
