London-bound Delta Airlines plane makes emergency landing

A US passenger plane bound for London had to make an emergency landing with smoke billowing from its wing, one day after an engine failure on another flight killed a passenger who was dragged halfway out of a window. The Delta Airlines flight took off from Atlanta on Wednesday evening before turning back after smoke started to pour from its right engine. A passenger said that the plane turned back a little more than 20 minutes after take-off.
