Mayawati removes party leader for calling Rahul Gandhi 'son of a foreigner'

The Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) chief Mayawati on Tuesday sacked her party’s national coordinator Jai Prakash Singh from his post for his remarks that Rahul Gandhi can’t become the prime minister of the country due to her mother Sonia Gandhi’s foreign origin. The sacked BSP national coordinator had also projected Mayawati as the potential candidate for the post of country’s prime minister and said that she was the only ‘dabang’ leader who can stop the winning chariot of Modi and Shah.
